Public2016 is turning Curtin University’s Bentley Campus into a canvas for nine international artists from as far afield as Europe, Tunisia, India, Russia, and the United States with Public Campus. Painting alongside several soon to be announced Western Australian artists are Millo, Karim Jabbari, Add Fuel, Ranjit Dahiya, Rustam QBic, Tellas, Borondo, Edoardo Tresoldi and Hense.

An international who’s who of urban artists will be turning Curtin University’s Bentley Campus into a canvas this April 4-10 as part of Public2016, FORM’s festival of urban activation and art. Tunisian artist Karim Jabbari, Portuguese muralist Add Fuel and street artist Millo will be creating extraordinary murals and installations alongside Indian Ranjit Dahiya, Russian muralist Rustam Qbic and Italian artist Tellas.

As the semester will be in full swing, Curtin’s 40,000 plus students, staff and the wider public will experience the artworks taking form across the walls of the university. There will also be guided artwork tours and a campus wind up party where the People’s Choice Award for Public Platform will be announced.

The international contingent will be joined by an exciting line up of soon-to-be announced Western Australian street artists and one of the artists behind Public2015’s epic 38 metre Wheatbelt grain silo murals, American Hense, returning to Western Australia to take on one of his most unique projects yet. Public Campus will also feature a special collaboration blending artwork by Spanish street artist Borondo with Edoardo Tresoldi’s wire mesh sculpture in a world class on-campus installation.
We want you to be part of it. Check out the website, follow FormWA on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter or hit the streets of Curtin Universit to see it happen.
