A free vocal and semi-acoustic concert by four diverse Sydney vocal acts, to Give Hope to asylum seekers. It's the launch of a fund-raising appeal by the Bridge for Asylum Seekers Foundation at www.asylumseekersfoundation.com to raise $100,000 for asylum seekers in most need; and will also promote online action in a campaign by the Social Justice Forum's "Give Hope: Uniting for asylum seekers" campaign at https://socialjusticeforum.good.do - encouraging emails to Federal MPs to close the offshore detention camps and increase Australia's refugee intake.

Performers will include outstanding young Sydney singer-songwriters Julianne Jessop and Andrew Guy, along with exuberant veterans Men With Day Jobs and the Solidarity Choir. Crowd involvement will be a must. Frances Milne AM of Bridge for Asylum Seekers and the Balmain Uniting Church will speak briefly on the Foundation's work helping refugees and asylum seekers in most need in the Sydney community. All welcome - none will leave without a song, a laugh, a tear, a pricked conscience or a stomped foot!
