Buildings scrape the sky and sap it's colour. A girl's porcelain skin cracks with cold. The gentle amber of windows switch to black, the streets hollow, and she is alone. Always on the outside.

Until....Risscht!

A swift strike of a light. A moment of colour. Of something warm.

"Do you see it? Just there for a moment! A hint of something....more. No, wait please! Stay a little longer. Just one more!"

This premiere production by the Open Lid Ensemble is a reimagining of Hans Chistian Andersen's classic tale. Ignited by a live soundtack it calls into question our perceptions of value and the balance of worth in an increasingly divided world.

Performing as part of The Fremantle Festival

The performance will be at The Red Room.

Featuring:
Courtney Turner, Kat Shaw, Amanda Watson, Sinead O'Hara and Hannah Evelyn.
Music by Michael Biagioni and Isaura Malika
