Part of an exhibition from the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka (M.A.D.E.) in Ballarat, will be on display this September. The exhibit features some of the work from a national quilters' challenge in 2015, with the theme 'Songs of Freedom - Celebrating Democracy', which is based on one of M.A.D.E.'s permanent exhibits 'The Power of Numbers' and demonstrates the power of voices using songs of protest.
This will be the first time the quilting exhibit will be shown outside of Victoria, and will feature the work of Ballaarat Quilters Inc.
