Join us at Rouse Hill House & Farm for an evening of stargazing. Four hundred years ago Galileo peered through his telescope and observed three moons orbiting Jupiter; his discoveries were to change the way the world was viewed, as he concluded that the earth was not the centre of the solar system after all.

During this family-friendly event, hear well-known astronomer Fred Watson discuss our place in the universe and view planets and stars through telescopes with astronomers from Sydney Observatory
Observe (weather permitting) Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Saturn in the night sky, along with visible constellations, including Sagittarius (the Archer) and Scorpius (the Scorpion).

Learn about the history of Rouse Hill House & Farm and visit the school house; bring a picnic blanket and sit back to enjoy a range of refreshments available to purchase as you gaze at the wide skies and their marvels.
