2015 Indy Theatre Smash Revived for 2016 Sydney Fringe Festival.

A true story, carried over oceans from Calabria to Sydney, raising the dead of a century past.

Bruno Aloi was a local government official and family man compelled to help police arrest army deserters – deserters who were his relatives. What happens when you must arrest kin?

This is the true story of Sydneysider Valentino Musico's great-grandfather during WW1 Italy, a story Valentino researched by visiting Italian State Archives in Calabria, a story now re-told for the stage with five glorious actors and the 8 metre wide timescoping canvas of art designer Vince Vozzo.

This gender neutral production revives the acclaimed 2015 King Street Theatre production.

The Reviews:

“A passionate, beautiful celebration” - Stage Whispers

“Seidenstein does terrific work with this engaging script” - Theatre Red

“We are riveted by the possibilities that seidenstein and musico present” - Sydney Arts Guide
