It seems amazing but after last November’s biggest ever White Wine Weekend followed by Taste of Tasmania and Launceston’s Festivale, it’s almost time for the Red Wine Weekend again. After last year’s record breaking attendance, and a year of unprecedented interest in Tasmania from tourists and media alike, this year is set to be bigger than ever.
Once again held in the unparalleled beauty of Hobart’s waterfront, more than 20 of Tasmania’s best producers will come together to celebrate the end of vintage with all things red and warming. Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and who knows what other surprises will be there to wash down some hearty food and great music.
Whether you are keen to stock your cellar for winter, or find out for yourself why Tassie is the buzz word in the Australian wine world, or simply up for a great day out, Red Wine Weekend is an incredible opportunity to taste more than 70 wines from around the state.
