Star 100 Entertainment & The Axis of Awesome present The Axis of Awesome – Won’t Ever Not Stop Giving Up.
The Axis of Awesome return to the Fringe in 2016 to storm Adelaide with a brand new hour of world class musical comedy. They’re very funny, very clever and very musical, and Jordan, Lee and Benny will bring Won’t Ever Not Stop Giving Up to the Spiegeltent in The Garden of Unearthly Delights for an exclusive four nights only.
When it comes to musical comedy, The Axis of Awesome are royalty. They’re no strangers to 5-star reviews, and they’ve toured all over the globe. Their comedy tunes have been viewed over 120,000,000 times on YouTube - that’s not a typo – they’ve had over One Hundred and Twenty-Million YouTube views. They’ve even got a plaque from YouTube commemorating that achievement. A Plaque!
With award-winning sellout international tours, they’ve performed everywhere: from the Sydney Opera House to the Gibson Amphitheater in LA; from the Edinburgh Fringe and Montreal International Comedy Festivals to the BBC’s Comic Relief Benefit; and from sharing the stage with The Hoff to a military base in the Sinai Desert near the border of Egypt and Israel.
Jordan Raskopoulos, Lee Naimo and Benny Davis’ putative comedy rock band was a product of their meeting at the University of Sydney. Since then, The AoA have made regular TV appearances in Australia, the UK, USA and Sweden, and have produced five studio albums: “Scissors, Paper, Rock!”, “Infinity Rock Explosion”, “Animal Vehicle”, “Cry Yourself a River” and “Christmawesome”, as well as a DVD, “The Axis of Awesome Live”. When not on stage together, Jordan, Lee and Benny also work as professional actors, television writers, composers, improv champions and sketch comedians, and brought that background to their innovative web series Axis All Areas on Youtube (which netted them “Best Channel” at the 2014 Online Video Awards).
Don’t miss a brand new hour of comedy rock power at the 2016 Adelaide Fringe.
