The Flatpack Life: an original comedy musical presented by the University Dramatic Society with book and lyrics by Matthew Nixon and Ralph Thompson and music by WAAPA composition graduate Jackson Griggs. Directed by Rupert Williamson, The Flatpack Life is a raucous irreverent comedy with a score inspired by Swedish retro pop and shopping centre muzak.

Björn Hammarskjöld is on the path to success. Receiving a graduate position as Assistant Door-Greeter at an Australian Möbler outlet, quickly ascending the ranks of that venerable Swedish furniture empire, and falling head over heels in love with stoic customs officer Rhonda Moulton, he is at the top of the world. However, with the discovery of a sinister underbelly to his beloved store, Björn is forced to decide between his new love and the dream he's had since he was a new Björn baby.
