Step out with friends and family on Sunday 30 October 2016 and take part in Two Feet and a Heartbeat, a Charity Walk/Run or Jog to help beat Childhood Heart Disease (CHD) – the leading cause of infant death in Australia - and raise money for HeartKids.

Did you know the human heart begins to beat at 21 days after conception? Did you know that 8 babies are born every day in Australia with CHD?

Two Feet and a Heartbeat consists of two courses – 2.1km and 8km long – allowing for participation from families and young children in the shorter course and City to Bay and other fun run regulars in the longer course.

The walk will take place in Adelaide and Darwin on Sunday 30 of October 2016.

Who can participate in Two Feet and a Heartbeat?

Anyone! Having two courses allows the event to suit all ages and abilities – even babies in prams are welcome. You can walk or run either the 2.1km or 8km courses as one of three participants:
- Blue if you are a person with Childhood Heart Disease
- Red if you are supporting a person with Childhood Heart Disease
- White if you are walking in memory of someone with Childhood Heart Disease

You can also register as a team – perhaps to represent the child or children you are walking in honour of, or as part of your school or workplace involvement. When you register your team you can then invite others to register and join your team. There will be various prizes on the day relating to teams such as best dressed and biggest fundraisers. Following the walk participants and guests can enjoy many activities as part of the Two Feet Fete.
