Byron alt-rockers Valhalla Lights have been announced for a heavy duty lineup at The Zoo on Friday 25th November with Bris progsters Silence the Sun and stoners Heavy Roller.

Valhalla Lights have been busy this year with their slow-release album “My Gracious Highway” which has seen a new single & video released each month since January and the band have taken a truckload of pre-orders for the full album which is due for release next month. The November single “Shadows” and super creepy filmclip is out now; lyrically the track is a warning about the corporate mass media causing shadows in your mind and nullifying your ability to think for yourself.

Brisbane’s Silence the Sun are releasing the first single “Faceless” on Nov 25 from their forthcoming blistering debut album which is set for release early 2017. The band has been quiet on the Brisbane scene of late preparing 11 killer tracks and working on several filmclips with a production team who also worked on Jungle Book for Disney, with these 4 accomplished musicians returning to the Aus live scene with a vengeance for an East Coast tour to celebrate the release.

Heavy Roller have been blowing audiences away with their “old-school heavy-metal on stoner steroids” brand of rock and roll and will be kicking off this killer lineup with their fuzz laden style. Picture a bar fight between Bon Scott, Lemmy, Billy Gibbons and John Garcia with Sabbath blasting through the jukebox and you'll get an idea of what they're about.
