The Wetlands Festival - Cannon Hill Anglican College’s bumper biennial fundraising fete - will be held on Sunday May 29 from 10am to 3pm. Activities will be held in the College grounds (corner of Krupp and Junction Roads), home to 4.5 hectares of protected Eucalyptus and Melaleuca Wetlands. The event will feature perennially popular stalls selling home-made sweets, cakes, preserves and up-market, upcycled craft items.
Books, clothes, household items and toys will also be available and, this year, there is already great interest in the retro/vintage feel to ‘The Clothing Emporium’ and craft stalls, in particular. There are plenty of activities and exciting rides, suitable for children of all ages. Festival activities also include musical entertainment, mouth-watering festival food stalls, environmental displays, and community stalls.
