triple j, Maker, TMWRK and Sweat It Out Music Present the official What So Not & A-Trak 2016 Australian Tour

Today we announce a clash of epic proportions. A double headliner featuring What So Not and A-Trak as they hit Australia this June and July. Kicking things of at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on June 30, the pair will then lap Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre July 1, Metro in Perth July 2 ahead of two shows at the Prince in Melbourne July 7 and 8, before wrapping July 9 at Brisbane’s Max Watts.

It’s been a whirlwind year for Sweat OG Emoh a.k.a What So Not. Relentless global touring, home for a headline slot at Groovin The Moo, just announced on Splendour In The Grass (if you’re missing this you might still get a chance to hear it) and setting up to debut his first body of work since the ever-overachieving ‘Gemini’ EP.

Australia I'm blown away we've been able to put this together, its going to be something very special. I can't wait to return home with these super talented friends of mine - The legend A-Trak & Atlanta's own, Rome Fortune. Good people, good vibes, party, energy, fun. Oh & there will be plenty of new What So Not tunes don't you worry ;) - Chris 'Emoh' Emerson, What So Not

On the other side we have A-Trak, who may not be a Sweat OG (we are glad he’s Sweat now), but who cares. Terms like OG were created due to people like A-Trak’s exploits and influence: DMC World Champ 5 times by 18, a generation defining remix of ‘Heads Will Roll’, his own world famous record label Fools Gold, and even a Grammy nomination through his platinum record inducing project Duck Sauce.

Australia is one of my favorite countries to play in, and somehow I haven’t been in years! Actually my last tour there was when I met Emoh. So I’m really excited to come back and play live venues with him, where we’ll both be able to flex our DJing muscles. The extra perk is that Sweat It Out is releasing my new single Parallel Lines. Full circle! I will bring lots of Maple Syrup from Canada for your fine country, and we’ll mix it with Vegemite. - A-Trak

Along for the ride will be very special guest, Fools Gold’s Rome Fortune (who you may have caught at his suprise appearance WSN's set GTM Bendigo & Townsville). A global ticket seller in his own right, we’re honoured to have him share the stage with our boys. All of this hot on the back of his debut album Jerome Raheem Fortune.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, we could not be more excited about this, and now that you have all the information, I’m fairly sure you couldn’t be either.

Tickets on Thursday 19 May at 7:00am (Local) from / &
