A Coffee Delight

A pop up location in Perth, combined with three courses of amazing food and paired wines dedicated to coffee is coming to Perth this Spring. The team from Plate and Barrel specialise in pop up culinary events to celebrate the best of WA produce and Australian wine, with a ‘hero’ ingredient the feature of each of their long-table dinners.

September sees their Chef feature coffee (locally roasted by a West Aussie producer) as the hero ingredient, with each course presented to up to just 30 diners in an intimate pop up setting. Co-founder of Plate and Barrel, Karina Preston, said the concept behind the monthly dinners was to connect producers and creators with diners in a really special way.

“Our dinners are designed to be small and food is shared in a long table format, allowing people to chat to one another easily or in their small groups.

We purposefully keep our events very small and intimate. Each time they are styled differently, feature a unique menu and hero ingredient, new wines and entertainment,” she said.
