What’s it all about?
Feeling stressed? Tired? Disconnected? Too many of us are suffering at the hands of our busy lives. By adding a little meditation and mindfulness practice into your daily life, you can counter the negative effects of modern life and find a bit more breathing room.

What will we cover?
In this interactive beginners’ mindfulness workshop we will cover:

- Hands-on practical tips for de-stressing, improving focus and boosting immune health.
- Using the environment to learn how to meditate and develop a sense of wellbeing.
- Misconceptions about meditation so that you leave knowing how to to meditate correctly.
- The class will be interactive and cover different techniques that you use to can tune in and relax, even if you are on the go. No dark, quiet room required!

Who will be teaching?
Coco profile pictureCoco has been involved with mindfulness and meditation for over 6 years. He is certified in Chinese Taoist meditation and Shaolin Qi Gong and has also been trained in MICBT (mindfulness integrated cognitive behavioral therapy). Coco works with Reality Based Mindfulness (RBM) and his approach is non-religious.

RBM is a Melbourne-based mindfulness training company, operating outdoors in parks throughout Melbourne. It strives to enable students to apply techniques to their daily lives and focuses on sense perception training, body awareness, conversational mindfulness, and awareness of thought patterns and emotions.
