The Australian premiere of one of the longest running improv troupes, Baby Wants Candy (USA), is bringing an explosive hour of ad-libbing song and dance to Adelaide Fringe.

After performing over 2,500 completely improvised musicals to sell-out shows in New York, Chicago, LA, and Edinburgh, Baby Wants Candy (BWC) are making their Australian debut at The Garden of Unearthly Delights this Adelaide Fringe.

America is the mecca of improv comedy and BWC is one of the nation’s front running troupes. It has launched the careers of top comedic actors and writers in the US, from Craig Cackowski (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development) to Jack McBrayer (Kenneth in 30 Rock), Vanessa Bayer and Aidy Bryant (Saturday Night Live), Thomas Middleditch (HBO’s Silicon Valley) and Peter Gwinn (Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report).

Entirely based on audience suggestion and accompanied by a full band, the show is a roller-coaster ride of spontaneously choreographed numbers, rhyming verses and witty, jaw-dropping comedy. Highly revered, acclaimed and adored, each show is totally unguided, entirely unpredictable and undoubtedly one of the finest and most unique hours you will ever catch on stage.

No script, no plot, and no two shows will ever be the same!
