Baggage Productions proudly present their latest premiere season.

Anno Zombie
Written by Bridgette Burton
Directed by Natasha Broadstock

Braaaaiiinnnssss.

Written by local playwright Bridgette Burton, Baggage Productions proudly serves up Anno Zombie; a highly infectious new Australian play coming to Chapel Off Chapel this September.

Set in post-Zombie Apocalypse Melbourne, the year is now and the situation is desperate. Well... fairly desperate. The Apocalypse has officially arrived and a group of survivors are holed up in a Melbourne department store debating their next life or (un)death move. But what are the Zombies up to?

A Zom-Com about living and dying, and undying, with coffee (it’s still Melbourne, after all), Anno Zombie provides fertile ground to explore the never ending human obsession with the end of the world.

And Zombies. Also our awesome obsession with Zombies.

Written by Bridgette Burton
Directed by Natasha Broadstock
Starring Lauren Bailey, Tiffany Davis, Matthew Dorning, Bruce Langdon, Kelly Nash, Taylor Smith-Morvell, Glenn Van Oosterom and Dan Walls
Set Design: Alice Bishop
Lighting Design: Matthew Barber
Sound Design: Bartholomew Heeren
Special FX Make-Up: Ali Rae
Costume Design: Romy Sweetnam

Running since 1999, Baggage Productions is dedicated to producing original work. They seek to encourage greater representation of women in the arts through providing a platform for women’s voices to be heard, and their stories to be told. Previous seasons include Beaten Hearts (which was a sell-out success in Melbourne, and went on to a critically acclaimed season in Los Angeles), The Subconscious Cometh, Rhonda is in Therapy, The Okinawa Hymen Repair Kit Factory, and Ambition. They also present the annual Madwomen Monologues which showcase the work of emerging women writers; attracting high-calibre, diverse and compelling scripts, playing to packed houses each year.
