'Out of order' presents an enchanting exploration of often unnoticed spaces and scenes within the Australian suburban environment, highlighting the beauty and charm in the everyday landscape. This program is free, places are limited. Bookings are essential via Trybooking.

In 'Out of order', former Bayside Artist in Residence Shannon Smiley, finds beauty in the everyday. Inspired by the Australian suburban environment, Smiley focuses on the neglected and overgrown niches found in the urban environment.

His practice is informed by a predilection for the tradition of landscape painting and a questioning of the inherent values within it.
