Have you been out there with your camera, taking photos of birds and found the results disappointing? When you flick through a glossy magazine do you wish your bird photos looked as amazing? This is the workshop for you! We will cover the many and various aspects of improving your bird photos, as well as hands on application in the Gardens. After all, there is a difference between a photo of a bird and bird photography. In this workshop we hope to give you some helpful hints which you can use to get that great shot.

Bring your favourite digital SLR and a memory card. A light breakfast (tea, coffee, juice, quiches and pastries) will be part of the deal as well as a walk around the Garden where you will be photographing birds. Once the photography is done we will have a look at our efforts and get feedback. This event will be led by birdwatcher and award-winning photographer Glenn Smith. Glenn has won many competitions and featured online with Australian National Geographic.
