Celtic force...in July!
You are invited to attend a wonderful performance, bursting at the seams with pipes and drums, the rich tones of brass and the light-footed steps of the Celtic Force Dancers. Come and experience the new-look show that celebrates its 19th season on stage.
New to this year's performance is the all male singing group from Launceston Church Grammar School, The Fellas. They perform a variety of music from classical and show tunes to pop and a cappella barbershop.
They will be joined on stage with Launceston Tenor and musician, Freddy Todman, singer Meegan Hughes and the pipe bands very own Sally-Anne Ralph.
The Celtic Force Dance Troupe will once again strut their stuff, and we also welcome the vibrant and lively Burnie School of Irish Dance. Highland and Irish Dancing are different styles but complement each other to evoke the Celtic tradition.
In August this year, John and Sally-Anne Ralph will be heading off for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Sally-Anne will be joining the Australian Federal Police Pipe Band and John has been successful in becoming a member of the Pipers Trail. The Pipers’ Trail: is an exciting initiative to connect musicians from around the world and to create a new collective of performers, teachers and supporters.
Band merchandise will be available for sale at the venue.
Tickets are on sale now through www.tixtas.com.au or phone 1300 795 257.
