Acrobatic clowns bring great family entertainment to Byron Bay during the Spring Holidays. Chores is an action-packed 60 minute show, jam-packed with zany antics as two brothers rush to get their room tidied before their Mum comes in.

Inspired by slapstick legends Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, the side-splitting duo of Julian Roberts and Patrick Heilmann are coming to the Byron Theatre for two shows only. Using high-energy acrobatics, audience participation and interactive multimedia, families with kids up to 12 years old love this wild comedy adventure.

Chores is the story of two brothers hanging out in their messy bedroom, when they hear their Mum approaching, and have to rush to get their jobs done. The duo’s attempts to tidy their room are met with a generous serve of comedy and chaotic acrobatics. Mum is kept at bay and the rewards come flooding in!

The physical comedy is suitable for diverse audiences as it requires little language and speaks to young and old alike.

Chores is brought to you by Hoopla Clique performers Patrick Heilmann and Julian Roberts. With collectively twenty years experience, the exuberant talent of these two clowns redefines slapstick humour and showcases the true value of tenacity, teamwork, trust and cooperation through physical theatre.

Fresh from a six month tour of Queensland this action packed 60-minute show is a must see in the Spring holidays!
