Mohini (Habits)

Book your tix early – this is our first Melbourne event, help us kick it off with a bang! We will be fundraising on the night as well to help support future events. All welcome to attend.

The Cocoa Butter Club gives a voice to the "other". We exist to promote the fact that IaoPoC are creating in a multitude of mediums, though in our experience artists of colour and their incredible talent are often ignored, erased and untold. Call it a creative clap-back!

NOTAFLOF, Donation (if you can afford to pay more, do so! 10% of profits will be donated to WAR- Warriors of Aboriginal Resistance)

Wrapped in your favourite Neo-Soul, RnB, Motown, Blues and Jazz songs, discover Burlesque, Sideshow, Spoken Word, Live Music, Voguing, performance art and more; as The Cocoa Butter Club proudly provides a platform for performers of colour to exhibit culturally expressive work for us to revel in!

This is a cross-continental project; The Cocoa Butter Club, originally started by Sadie Sinner The Songbird in London, 2016 is now opening a sibling group in Australia with their first events in Sydney and Melbourne in March, 2017!

No one will be turned away due to lack of funds, there's an allocated amount of free tickets so get on it!

Venue is wheelchair accessible. Gender neutral toilets on site. For all enquiries and any other access enquiries contact

This event will be taking place on stolen land. We would like to acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional owners of this land the Wurundjeri-willam people of the Kulin Nation. We would also like to extend our respect to all Sistergirls and Brotherboys those past and those present. Sovereignty was never ceded.
