We live in a busy world where we take little time to pause or reflect. I invite you to spend the day with me using arts as therapy. Art therapy differs from traditional art in that the emphasis is on the process of creating rather than on the end product. No experience with arts is necessary. Art making can help to stimulate imagination and creativity, to identify and clarify concerns, to express feelings that are difficult to discuss and to increase self awareness. Create the space and take the day to follow your heart spontaneously with colours, shapes and images, you may find another way to express how your life is, and consider other possibilities.

Juliette Kalifa is a registered creative arts therapist and clinical supervisor with over twenty years experience in creative arts counselling with adults, children and groups. Sunday 11 June Held in the Gompa at Chenrezig Institute. Book online or with our friendly reception team.

Apart from the formal study programmes, Chenrezig Institute is a peaceful, calm and relaxing place to spend a few hours, days or weeks. Stroll along the bush paths, wander in formal garden, espresso in the cafe or a vegetarian meal. Teachers’ availability subject to change. Please refer to the Chenrezig Institute Calendar for updated information.

Also below the far carpark is our new addition ‘The Wellbeing Centre’ which provides courses focusing on cultivating physical, emotional and mental balance and wellbeing. They include authentic traditional and modern psychological approaches to health and lifestyle. They are suitable for everyone who maybe looking for genuine happiness and well-being in a non-religious framework.
