Dimmi, is partnering with Taste of Melbourne to launch an interactive dining experience, pitting iconic Chefs from Sydney and Melbourne against each other in a ‘food of origin’ bid to uncover which city offers Australia’s most coveted dining experience in ‘Young Guns,’ presented by Dimmi.

In a historical, head-to-head battle between the states, diners will have the chance to experience and vote on two signature dishes created from a collaboration of Sydney Chefs, Nelly Robinson (Nel.) and Nathan Sasi (Mercado) and Melbourne Chefs, Peter Gunn (IDES) and Charlie Carrington (Atlas).

‘Young Guns’ by Dimmi opens to the public from Thursday, 30 November until 3 December at the Taste of Melbourne Festival, available to 16 guests per session. Ticket includes a fine dining experience with a glass of champagne and the two bespoke, limited edition dishes. Diners will have the opportunity to cast their vote and nominate their favourite city’s culinary sensation at each tasting session. The winning Chefs will be announced at the conclusion of the final session, claiming victory and solving the notorious rivalry between the two states; only one state will reign supreme.
