Join us for a night of sublime melody as two of WA’s finest singer/songwriters launch their new albums.

Elk Bell – Republica d’fantAsia
Elk Bell (Tenille Elkins) released her first full length album ‘Superfragilistic’ in September 2011, a release that found its way to feature album status on RTRfm in Perth WA, and into the CMJ Top 200 in the US. Her new album, Republica d’fantAsia, recorded from 2012 to 2016 is a bewitching concoction of pure melody, brooding piano, sweet vocals and dark and dangerous lyrics about love won and lost, desire and fulfillment.

For this special night she’s assembled a cool cadre of musicians to bring these songs to you:
- Matt Geary (Team Jedi, Some Like It Yacht, Ghost Hotel)
- Vincent P-C (Yunyu and the Wakeless, Lost Weekend, Stoneface)
- Janine Wells (The Hedonists, Ikey Mo, Jeff Strong and the Midnight Traitors)

Hugh Jennings – Hound
A veteran of the Perth original music scene, Hugh has lent his talents to such seminal acts as Autopilot, End of Fashion, Bob Evans, The Avenues, Eskimo Joe, The Basement Birds, Steve Poltz and The Chemist, amongst many others.

His debut 11-track album has been many years in the making; built from snippets of tunes sung in hallways and lounge rooms into fully fledged pop/folk masterpieces, these are songs about Love and Need, Life, Death and Romance, Nothing and Everything.

He’s pulled together a band of his favourite friends to perform his album from start to finish:
- Glen Young (Burnside, Ikey Mo, Steve Parkin and the Foreign Films)
- Cain Turnston (Cartman, The Avenues)
- Mike Hobbs (Greenroom, End of Fashion, The Meaning Of)
- Tom Craig (Bordello, The Avenues)
+ special guests
