Claire Patti
Claire’s hauntingly beautiful voice hushes the rowdiest of crowds, even before she plays her instrument - one rarely found in jazz - the harp. Her fingers, as they dance across the strings and levers, have listeners bewitched while she sings traditional jazz standards, originals, and folk songs. She has an enormous passion for many styles of music, performing genres including orchestral and choral, contemporary a cappella, traditional Celtic, pop, and even German Oompah! This rich tapestry of influences now weaves its way into her music making as she delves into the wonderful world of jazz. Claire will be joined by sensational double bass player Liz Frencham, and other fabulous musicians from Melbourne Polytechnic and beyond; Nicholas Marturano, Federico Jimenez Pedraza and Levi Waks. She will also introduce her sassy new jazz vocal quartet "The Velvetones."

Dale Fernandez
Dale Fernandez is a guitarist who has been working in Melbourne’s music scene for many years. Being a lover of music, he has played many gigs of varied genres, such as jazz, pop, reggae, Hip Hop, Funk and Rock. He takes inspiration from such artists such as Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, George Benson, Robin Trower, John Mayer, Eric Clapton and Eric Johnson. Dale brings an exciting vibe to the stage, backed by some of Melbourne’s most talented young musicians.

Luke Byrnes
Luke Byrnes is a young guitarist from the floodplains of northern NSW. Initially heading to Melbourne in 2012 to pursue a career as a geneticist, Luke took a tragic and all-too-common turn towards life as a musician. Having performed with a diverse assortment of local Melbourne outfits ranging from bluegrass, punk, hip hop, and jazz artists, Luke has recently finished a year of musical training at Melbourne Polytechnic to help integrate his varied musical tastes. Drawing inspiration from guitarists as disparate as Tony Rice and Ben Monder, Luke brings a colourful range of influences to his playing and improvisation, which he tries to deliver free of cliché and fusion cheese.
