Miles Recommends return to Melbourne for the final stop of their regional tour in promotion of their debut EP—Extended Play—which received solid airplay this year in Australia and overseas on stations including Triple M, Triple R, PBS and Double J. Prepare yourself for a vibrant and moving musical odyssey as the indie folk-rocking sextet blend a wide range of influences together, as led by singer-songwriters and music production duo Des Atkinson and Lou Cadell, as a backdrop to their ongoing dissection of social norms. Oh, and they’re named after their local video store clerk!

Happy Mag: Extended Play is an EP with a real breadth of sound and narrative, a welcome mix of melancholy and inspiration. With energetic instrumental and great vocals, Miles Recommends are a crowd pleaser in every way.

EarToTheGroundMusic: Their international appeal is found in rich harmonies and unique songwriting. With a dash of classic rock and some nuances from modern alt rock, the sound is one that you will find fulfilling and uplifting.

Supporting them will be Melbourne pop n’ rollers The Phosphenes, the indie/alt rocking trio City At Midnight, and alt-rockers Franjapan!

Under 18 must be accompanied by parent.

See you there!
