Rediscover Frankston City Centre and head in for the Family Fun Weekend on Young and Station Streets. The Victorian Government is celebrating the newly reopened Young Street and Council is joining in on the fun with free games and activities. Come along and take part.

The Family Fun Weekend will include two stages featuring musicians and dancers on Young Street from 10am to 5pm; and there will be a Children’s Activity Area at the pop-up green space in Station Street Mall, from 10am to 3pm.

Head along, as there will be beanbags to lounge on and something to enjoy for kids of every age, including:

- Games of giant connect four
- Free face painting
- An artist space thanks to Riot Art
- A virtual reality experience of Frankston's future (Saturday morning)
- Lego-building competitions (Saturday afternoon)
- A chance to meet a ranger and take part in colouring competition (Sunday)
- The Youth Services Games, with a handball competition and Wii games (Sunday afternoon)

Support local traders and pick up a copy of the Rediscover Frankston brochure while you’re there. Head down between 11am and 12pm on Saturday to meet the Triple M Rock Patrol And nab some great local offers.

And we will also have opportunities to meet an expert and provide feedback on a number of Council’s public consultations for:

- The Connecting Malls Project
- The Biodiversity strategy, and
- The Draft Housing Strategy
