Dave Callan:

Dave Callan is easily the hairiest comedian in Australia, often mistaken for Chewbacca, Jesus and The Wild Man from Borneo.

Born in Ireland, Dave moved to WA when he was 8 and has become one of Australia's most recognised and celebrated comedians, performing on Rove, The Melbourne International Festival Comedy Gala, and Comedy Up Late (ABC). He has also been a regular on Good Game (ABC 2), Spicks and Specks, and Good News Week. Callan hosted the mid-dawn shift at Triple J on Sundays from 1am–6am for most of 2005, then Pirate Radio from 6pm until 9pm on Saturday evenings. He continues to perform stan-up comedy all over the world and drops in to Fresh Comedy for what will be possibly the funnest show of the year!
