At the edge of reality, everything is possible and nothing is what it seems…dynamic and interactive fun for young and old.
Following sold out shows at Fringe World 2016, international mystery performer Pierre Ulric returns with a new and exciting production that will appeal to the whole family.
Funtastico! incorporates strong moments of magic, illusions, modern clowning, physical comedy and fun interactive routines involving the audience. This is neo-vaudevillian work, theatrical surrealism at it's best!
The show is a balanced mix of musical pantomime and spoken pieces, exploring the boundaries of our imagination. Set against a backdrop of music and multimedia, audiences will experience recomposed renditions of classics of magic and brand new effects never before witnessed live.
Children and families are not typically well catered for at fringe festivals and Pierre Ulric wanted to develop a show to fills that void, creating long lasting memories of discoveries into the extraordinary. The show will appeal to school audiences also, as it contains a lot of interesting scientific and historical information.
Guests can enjoy the performance either at the Noodle Palace in Perth near the festival hub, or some can catch one of the only two special matinees being held at the Rottnest Island Picture Hall.
