"Painfully heartbreaking...complexly tragic-yet-beautiful...[Harrison has] taken things to the next level as a performer." - Today Online

Multiple-award-winning Singaporean actress and theatre-maker Sharda Harrison invites her audience to meet her in the space between human and animal. Drawing inspiration from shamanic practices, traditional physical theatre and her own childhood as the daughter of a zoologist, Sharda crafts a one-hour visceral solo performance through ritualism, storytelling, movement, sound and media.

Developed through interviews from a range of conservationists, zookeepers, Orang Asli (First People of the Malay Peninsula) experts and cat ‘aunties’, Temuan [the meeting] weaves together moving narratives of snakes, cats, orang-utans, and the human animals who are changed by them.
