Master the art of game development and programming in this intensive three-day camp. Learn how to use the most popular software in the game industry, acquire awesome game design and coding skills and create an epic game project.

This interactive camp is lead by AIT’s Game Development teacher, Tyson Butler-Boshma—creator of Primordials: Fireborn.

What your three days will look like:

Day 1: You will dive head first into Unity the world’s most popular game engine where you will learn about the Unity interface and have to develop your own vertical world. This introduction of game design theory will allow you to build the foundations of which all future game projects are built.

Day 2: You will jump into the programming side of game development. This is knowledge you’ll need to bring your games to life. We will look at making characters move and setting up basic conditions on how their behaviors work. Also, we will spend some extra time polishing your environment designs.

Day 3: This day is for you! What do you want to learn? The possibilities are endless:

- Game Design Documents
- Level Design
- Lighting Best Practices
- Environment Design
- 2D
- Story design
- Prototyping and Grey Boxing
