A must visit at this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show, kids will tie on an apron and put their chef’s skills to the test at Nestlé Healthy Active Kids’ lunchbox cooking sessions.

The Nestlé Healthy Active Kids program, developed in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), aims to teach children about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Nestlé Healthy Active Kids will host fun cooking sessions for children between 6-13 years old at the Woolworths Food Farm inside the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

The hands-on 20 minute sessions will let kids chop, melt and mix away, getting their hands stuck in as they learn how to cook with fresh ingredients and how food ends up in their lunchbox by making their very own delicious snacks.

At the end of the action-packed sessions, kids plate up and taste-test their finished lunchbox delights. They also get to take home a Nestlé Healthy Active Kids portion plate and lunchbox stickers to make back-to-school lunchbox prep a breeze.

“The sessions are a must visit at this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show, giving kids an exciting way to connect with the origins of their food and everyday lunchbox. We want to teach them that cooking is fun, delicious and something they can help out with at home,” says Katrina Koutoulas, Head of Market Wellness, Nestlé Oceania.
