The Great Food Rescue Race is returning to Adelaide for a third year!

The unique, fast-paced race run by OzHarvest SA takes place across the CBD and helps provide meals for people in need.

Teams of five will compete against each other in a series of cooking, nutrition and food rescue challenges at iconic Adelaide landmarks including a start/finish at Victoria Square plus the Adelaide Central Market, COAL Cellar + Grill, Botanic Gardens and National Wine Centre.

This year’s Great Food Rescue Race—which raises much-needed funds for Australia’s leading food rescue organisation OzHarvest—will also feature race stations at Rundle Mall and sponsorship from Carbon Neutral Adelaide for the first time.

The event is the OzHarvest's flagship fundraiser in South Australia and is supported by some of Adelaide’s top chefs and food identities. The collective goal is to raise $100,000, which will help provide 200,000 meals for vulnerable people in the local community.
