Starring Ryan Corr and Craig Stott and featuring performances by Guy Pearce, Geoffrey Rush, Kerry Fox and Anthony LaPaglia, "Holding The Man" is based on the book of the same by Timothy Conigrave, and depicts the true story of Timothy and his partner John Caleo at the height of the 1980s AIDS epidemic.

Portraying one of the great gay love stories of all time, this screening will feature a special appearance by Australian Lesbian and Gay Archives volunteer and gay community journalist Gareth D’Souza.

Gareth - who had a cameo in the film and who was recently awarded a Special Service Award by the Victorian AIDS Council - will speak before the screening, take audience questions and present memorabilia from the Archives relating to the late Tim and John.

This screening includes a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival. 100 per cent of profits from ticket sales will benefit the Australian Lesbian and Gay Archives.

Doors open 7:30pm, with the film starting at 8pm sharp.
