Jackie returns to Lido with a superb line-up. Featuring the exciting guitarist James Sherlock, the highly accomplished Mark Fitzgibbon on piano and the outstanding saxophonist Carl Mackey. Jackie will perform a selection of her favourite Bossas, Ballads and Cool Jazz tunes. NB Lido gigs are now 8-10pm. Jackie Bornstein (voice)
Having performed venues in Australia and the UK over the past 15 years, Jackie is known for her richly toned vocals and ability to get to the heart of a tune. Trained classically as a child, Jackie went on to study jazz voice at the Victorian College of the Arts. She was awarded a UK Masters scholarship and focused her thesis on the role of the arts/music in peaceful conflict resolution.

James Sherlock (guitar)
James is one of Melbourne's most exciting and sought after jazz guitarists. He has performed or recorded with such diverse artists as New York jazz vocalist Sheila Jordan, French jazz singer Cyrille Aimee, British guitar virtuoso Martin Taylor, The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Megan Washington, Katie Noonan and many more.

Mark Fitzgibbon (piano)
One of Australia's greatest jazz pianists, Mark is back playing Melbourne after being based in Shanghai for several years. A renowned bebop master and brilliant accompanist he is a past winner of the Wangaratta jazz prize. Mark has played and recorded with many great jazz artists such as Dale Barlow and George Coleman jr, Jamie Oehlers, David Rex , Mark Murphy, Robin Eubanks.

Carl Mackey (saxophone)
Carl Mackey has been on the professional jazz scene since the age of 16. A musician with broad experience, both in Australia and overseas, Carl has played with the likes of Terell Stafford, Lionel Hampton, Bernie McGann, Don Burrows, James Morrison, Barney McAll, Mark The Yellowjackets, the Beastie Boys, Beck, The Waifs and more.
