Our second Japanese Spring Festival will be held this October!

It will kick off on Saturday 14th October with 3 Tea Ceremonies at 11, 12, and 1pm. $10 for 40-minute sessions presented by a tea ceremony group visiting from Japan. Bookings are essential!

Then Saturday evening 14th October from 4pm–8pm will be the main foodie event with Blue Plum, Sushi-Yah-man, Sushi Wave, and Sunspace. Kimono dressing, Games, and music. At 5pm, there will be a demonstration of traditional samurai weapons by members of Kenshinryu Aikido dojo in Palmwoods!

On Sunday 15th October from 10am–1pm, Blue Plum & Sunspace will be collaborating again, with Sushi from Yah-man, Sushi-wave, and Sushi-Station. On Sunday there will be a Suibokuga workshop (ink wash painting) $5 bookings via eventbrite. These workshops are 30 minutes each beginning from 10am, limited to 5 people per workshop.

Kimono dressing, some games, and music on Sunday too!
