Project Coaching Institute, with dedicated team of volunteers will be running a fun and entertaining workshop by seasoned life coaches and speakers from Toastmasters Club that will inspire people to laugh a bit more, live more joyful and to socialise on this special occasion of Mental Health Awareness week 2017.

Norita Omar, the founder of will be there to talk about Resilience, Peter Law, the twice winner of International Toastmasters Speech Contest in WA 2012 and 2014 will make you laugh and cry. Danny Marriner, the leading life and fitness coach is to present Be Your Own Hero workshop. A couple of comedians from the Only The Human, WA Comedy and theatre company who also works with Act Belong Commit and Canteen Australia will be there too.

The Western Australian Association of Mental Health (WAAMH), in association with the Mental Health Commission, is coordinating an awareness campaign and key events during Mental Health Week, running from October 7–14 October 2017.

2017 Theme:

This year WAAMH will be using two complementary themes for Mental Health Week 2017 for greater engagement. The themes are: "Connect with nature, connect with community, connect with self for mental wellbeing" and "Connect with country, connect with community, connect with you for strong social and emotional wellbeing."

About Mental Health Week Now in its 50th year, Mental Health Week is presented by the Western Australian Association for Mental Health (WAAMH) and WA’s Mental Health Commission, with thanks to Principal Supporter, Lotterywest.
