You’re invited to our biggest party of the year. Join us to witness Ballroom Records’ lovechild and one of Berlin’s most explosive techno acts—Kaiser Souzai! Celebrating over ten years of performance, remixes and original studio production, the DJ duo is now on its way to Australian shores for an international tour before we leap into 2018.

Supporting this incredible act is none other than beloved local artists Thankyou City with their renowned live set! The brothers are set to enjoy a massive 2017 Summer series in Melbourne with bookings already confirmed for Strawberry Fields 2017, Subsonic Music Festival 2017 - Official and The Pleasure Garden 2017, and they return now to Guerns’ main room after some huge events with us this year alongside Uone, Muska and Sunshine.

And rounding out this stunning lineup is hugely talented Victor Y (a.k.a. Paul Suares), who, now based in Berlin, has recently enjoyed a major original release on Open Records with ‘Blueprint’ (subsequently re-interpreted by our very own Doppel to a stunning reception). On tour back home in Australia and inspired by festival performances here and overseas, we can’t wait to get you in front of someone who is easily one of our favourite artists!

Kaiser Souzai (Ballroom Records, DE)

Making concrete waves throughout the Berlin underground and carving a reputation internationally with their live performances, popular event nights and taste-making record label, Berlin duo, Kaiser Souzai are an unstoppable force within the industry. What began as a music collaboration, has now become much more than that with the creation of their own musical genre of Art-rock Tech, drawing influence from 70’s greats such as Pink Floyd, Genesis and Yes, yet still keeping to their roots of deep and progressive techno, electrifying dancefloors across the globe.

Thankyou City a.k.a. Brent and Scot Mirams

This sibling duo have formed an impressive trademark sound in the heart of their beloved hometown Melbourne, Australia. This sound has given them the opportunity to shine on the international dance circuit alongside many of their favourite artists and producers, experiences they are both enthusiastically grateful for. Being grateful is their manta, "the name 'Thankyou City' portrays exactly that, to be grateful for whatever your reason, purpose, situation or experiences are, and thats pretty much what it means for us" they happily confess.

Victor Y (Open Records) a.k.a. Sydney producer Paul Suares.

His neurosis with music began at around ten, a trained drummer growing up in live bands across the borders of death metal and wistful folk. Realising the potential to curate infinite textures, he found infatuation and prowess in electronic production. Collaboration and diversification is at the heart of the Victor Y project. Unconfined, tracks are often produced live with musicians in the studio, merging innovative sounds with sincere organic talent for mercurial energies. From delicate chillwave through deep and driving techno, Victor Y’s sound is versatile and holistic with mood, people, and place.
