The kings and queens of disco—KC and The Sunshine Band, Village People and Sister Sledge—are joining forces for a disco overload this December as part of A Day On The Green Festival. They will be turning up the disco fever in Perth, McLaren Vale, Yarra Valley, Hunter Valley and Mt Cotton where they will be joined by another disco royalty, Australia's very own Marcia Hines. Apart from the ADOTG shows, KC and The Sunshine Band, Village People and Sister Sledge will also have additional indoor shows in Melbourne and Sydney in cooperation with Frontier Touring.

KC and The Sunshine Band
KC and The Sunshine Band is a disco/funk/R&B group from Florida USA formed in 1973. They are responsible for hits like 'Shake Your Booty', 'That's The Way I Like It' and 'Give It Up' to name a few.

Village People
Being in the industry for four decades now, there's no doubt the Village People are an institution in the disco scene. Originally catering to the genre's gay audience, they swept into the mainstream with hits like YMCA, Macho Man and In the Navy.

Sister Sledge
The recent death of Joni Sledge—who formed one-fourth of the all-sister quartet Sister Sledge—did not hinder the rest of the group from performing, all the more giving meaning to their seminal song 'We Are Family'. The group was founded in 1971 but only gained prominence in 1979 with the release of their album 'We Are Family'. This December, Debbie, Kim and Kathy Sledge will be flying down under to get everyone on the dance floor.

Marcia Hines
Breaking into the scene at a tender age of 16, Marcia became one of Australia's musical gems. She has proven her staying power with her 40-year old career. Apart from singing, she is also an advocate for the prevention of diabetes.
