A brand new music series, Live @ The Chapel, will be launched. The music program is the first of many and will bring the best in local Australian music acts to perform live for the Bondi community.

This fundraising night will bring two Aussie rock legends on stage to perform together for the first time. Karma County frontman and ARIA award winner, Brendan Gallagher will be joined by edgy punk rocker Ed Clayton-Jones to perform an impressive repertoire of songs from their careers spanning many years.

Music lovers, as well as foodies are encouraged to attend. A feast of Middle Eastern food, catered by Two Good Co will also be included in the ‘dinner and show’ ticket price. Young Henrys will be on hand to serve their trademark boutique beers at the paid bar to help get the good vibes going.

“Wayside Chapel know that the Bondi crowd love their music so we are opening a venue, rather than closing one, bringing together the best Aussie local acts as well as great food for everyone to enjoy. We really hope that the community get behind us for this series of bi-monthly fundraising events,” says Anna Young, Wayside’s Events Manager.

The Wayside Chapel Bondi Beach, which opened in July 2016, provides much-needed support for vulnerable people in the Eastern Suburbs under the mission of creating community with no ‘us and them’. Programs and services provided address issues including social isolation, mental health, addiction and homelessness. All proceeds from the event will go back to the Wayside Chapel.
