Now celebrating its 8th year, the Melbourne International Singers Festival showcases world renowned artists, performers and educators in the magnificent venues in Melbourne's art precinct.

We are thrilled to announce that our guest conductor this year is one of Australia's pre-eminent and most admired conductors, Richard Gill AO, founding Music Director and Conductor Emeritus of Victoria Opera. Richard will lead our massed choir rehearsals, workshops and concerts over the festival weekend.

Richard specialises in opera, musical theatre and vocal and choral training and is internationally respected as a music educator. His work in developing young musicians and creating opportunities for them is recognised worldwide.

Join us for an unforgettable weekend of musical experiences including:

Workhops and Concerts Galore – MISF 2017 will see a new range of musical opportunities for singers and choirs to workshop and perform at our festival home. Best of British is back! Our stunning finale with our Massed Festival Chorus will be led by Richard Gill AO. Men aloud will be led by Dr Jonathon Welch AM, founding artistic director of the festival.
