What happens when artist and event management company Sensible Antixx hook up with entertainment royalty Smart Base Entertainment? They don’t just showcase ‘new wave,’ they become the taste makers in Melbourne’s rap culture!

Sensible Antixx started making waves in the local Hip Hop scene 2 years ago hosting varied arts and musical events across Melbourne. They’ve found success in charity events, artist management and even curating The Music’s Hip Hop column pRhymetime (which has seen the likes of Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Chali 2na and Pharoahe Monch!).

Now we don’t play, we ain’t going to pretend we care about horses running in a circle. That’s why this November 4, Sensible Antixx and Smart Base Entertainment are taking over The Northcote Social Club to bring you Neighbourhood Rhapsody, a dope AF local insight into who deserves your headphone airtime. RD affiliates, Sensible Antixx’ own lyricists, here’s the low down;

- Sol^Manic
- 1/6
- Mistress OC
- Charlie Threads
- Olive Amun
- Verbal Tactics
- Special Guests

Previous event Young Henrys and Sensible Antixx presents: Oxjam was a huge success earning a little over $3,000 for charity Oxfam Australia. We turned The Penny Black out with headlines L Fresh The Lion, Mantra, N’fa Jones and many more, Neighbourhood Rhapsody promises to be another example of Melbourne’s stunning street soundtrack.

So let’s be real, when tickets are only $15 you’re not going to find a better playlist on a Saturday night. Forget about the cup, come drink from ours.
