Northey Conducts Australian Premiere is the fourth and final concert of the 2017 Monash Academy Orchestra season. The season brings some of Australia’s finest conductors and soloists to perform with Monash universities exceptional young players.

Australian conductor Benjamin Northey is the Chief Conductor of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and the Associate Conductor of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Northey appears regularly as a guest conductor with all major Australian symphony orchestras.

With a progressive and diverse approach to repertoire, Benjahmin Northey conducting the orchestra is an event not to be missed.

This is a free event but patrons must reserve a seat via the MAPA Box Office or call 9905 1111 between 9:30am–4:40pm Monday–Friday.
