The toughest sport on dirt, PBR is returning to Australia in 2017, with a bigger and more explosive line up of champion athletes, bucking bulls and rock-star style entertainment.

Fast becoming one of the world’s biggest sports, the craze of the Professional Bull Riding (PBR) events will take over Australia again this year, with new events in Melbourne and Adelaide and all other states and major cities set to experience the phenomenon that is PBR.

A PBR event is not a rodeo, this is the mother of all extreme sports; as strong athletes try to out manoeuvre a tonne of ranging bovine fury that is hell bent on dominating the battle. For many, eight seconds may not sound like a long time, yet to a cowboy on the back of a bull it can feel like an eternity, as they prepare for an unrelenting battle.

This international spectacle is held in the USA, Brazil, Canada, Mexico and Australia, with over 1200 riders competing to win major prizes and bull-bucking glory. Amongst the toughest athletes mentally and physically, Australia has produced some of the world’s best, including current Aussie champion Cody Heffernan, seasoned ten year veteran Budd Williamson and leading Aussie rookie- the up and coming Braydon Welby. These elite contenders will compete in front of packed arenas, joined by international competitors as well as the unsung heroes of the sport, protection athletes who are literally putting their bodies on the line for the athletes. Popularity is at an all-time high, and this Australian tour is not to be missed.

These exciting events have an atmosphere like no other- crowds cheering, music pumping and adrenaline rushing, which makes for an unforgettable experience enjoyed by all ages.

All PBR events are internationally sanctioned with all points won counting towards the PBR World Standings.
