With almost 30 years of industry experience, established on a strong foundation of knowledge-sharing, strong project management, research and innovative development, Polytan are now going one step further to support the successful planning and construction of regional facilities.

Polytan’s ‘Concept to Creation—Sports Field Symposium’ provides an opportunity for local government, educational establishments, sports associations, clubs and venues to listen to recent case studies, skilled project managers and facility operators. The experienced speakers will share their thoughts and provide a range of presentations, aimed at identifying critical and worthwhile considerations, for potential synthetic sports facility builders.

With strategic locations throughout Australia, across Asia and New Zealand, Polytan has participated in some of the World’s most exciting and challenging sporting construction projects. Polytan’s impressive repertoire of facilities spans from Olympic and Commonwealth Games venues, through to regional facilities for sporting associations and universities, along with numerous state and local government departments, who strive to deliver sport and recreation facilities within their local communities.

Feedback will be provided to symposium participants on how to make educated decisions from the initial planning through the design and construction of sporting and recreational facilities.

Additionally, successful concepts will be openly discussed and balanced, with optional inclusions to maximize longevity to help you get the most out of a synthetic sporting facility.

An intriguing range of topics including facility design trends, approximate project costs, surfacing systems, maintenance, performance infills, venue development and planning for the future will be discussed.

“We believe participants will walk away with a comprehensive understanding of the best practice to drive their vision into a successful reality.” - Rob Kirkwood, Polytan National Sales Manager.

“Synthetic surfaces continue to be of high interest to the sport sector, especially in the context of rapidly expanding population growth and increasing land pressures. The Concept to Creation Sports Field Symposium was a great event from Polytan. The presentations were very informative, providing insights into the latest technologies of synthetic sports surfacing, combined with recent case studies across Australia.” - Brad Billett, Facility Planner.
