An original work by playwright Matthew Sini, a dark family comedy set in the hours before the world ends. The Stone family isn’t exactly functional.

The mother is too upbeat, her partner resents her, the sons are in their own little worlds, and the daughter has just escaped from an apocalyptic cult that doesn’t seem so strange now the end of the world is approaching. What better way to deal with Armageddon than an awkward family dinner? Secrets are revealed, relationships renewed, tensions aired and scrabble played.

Opening at zero hour and told in reverse, the audience always knows just a little more than the characters realise is coming.

Presented by Boutique Theatre and Gasworks Arts Park as part of Melbourne Fringe 2017.
