Learn to paint with acrylic on silk to make scarves wearable art and wall hangings.
Silk Art is a Great Christmas gift idea.

Wednesday's Beginner Classes from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, run over 4 weeks: the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd of November.

The cost of the ticket is for a 4-week course. Cost includes the fabric to make three scarves, one small square and two others larger, paint, brushes, resist, applicator and the use of a stretching frame to ensure the silk is correctly tensioned to apply the acrylic paint.
If you have ever wanted to try your hand at painting with acrylics on beautiful pure silk, design your own wearable clothes or scarf as well as a piece of art for your wall, then Natalie's classes are just for you.

Natalie Malarowski is a professional artist and founder of Natalie's Silk Art. You can't imagine your feelings of excitement and joy when the paint is flowing on the fabric and under your direction takes a form of a beautiful art. Colourful vibrant colours combined with a slightly see-through, gentle canvas of silk. Students are given the opportunity to explore the many styles and varieties of resist techniques as a Cold Batik, Hot Batik and Free painting. For many students, it is their first-time painting and it can be a bit daunting when committing the first brush strokes to the naked silk but Natalie gently gives them confidence, encouraging them to be brave and achieve their own style.

Natalie runs beginner classes and more advanced classes at various times during the year. For more information visit Natalie's silk art website or e-mail:
