Steve Luthaker (guitarist for Toto) comments on Simon Kinny-Lewis’s brand new album “Street Blues”
“Great man. Your voice has a little Bonnamassa in it…which is cool. Love the tune too. Killer solo!

T.J. Helmerich, producer/engineer for artists Steve Vai, Victor Wooten, and Tribal Tech says this is about Simon’s 2015 release “Strat Attack”: “Simon’s releases never cease to amaze me! This one is my favourite I think...love the writing, and the players. Simon’s guitar talents truly shine on this, as he effortlessly navigates through tricky progressions with fire, grace and taste!”

Christian Howes, leading jazz violinist and professor at the Berklee College of Music. His artistic collaborators have included Les Paul, Greg Osby, Robben Ford, to name a few writes: “One of the most soulful guitar players on the planet!”

Simon Cotsworth, Producer/Engineer (Seal, Santana, Benson, Ritenour and Simon Kinny-Lewis): “What I look for is timing and performance..and Simon is top on both of those.”

Vicente Zúmel - “La Hora del Blues” (Radio - Barcelona):
“Simon appears as a good poet and storyteller, but also as an excellent composer, an impressive singer and a first class guitar player. A magnificent, sophisticated album that in every note gives off a delightful fragrance.”

Darren Jack (Multi-award winning Australian Blues Guitarist):
“This is a very strong album from a seasoned player who has obviously worked hard.
Impressive songwriting, soulful vocalist and a world-class guitar player”.

Paul J. O’Brien (Multi-award winning Australian Blues Guitarist):
On “Street Blues” SKL reveals himself to be the true triple threat. World class guitar player and vocals, but crucially, the songs to sell it all. Awesome!”

Steve Edmonds (Guitarist to some of Australia’s finest recording artists - Jimmy Barnes, Renee Geyer, Doug Parkinson, Billy Thorpe, Delta Goodram and more):
“Street Blues” is a beautifully produced album that is a fantastic listening experience. Full of great original songs and choice covers. A perfect vehicle for Simon’s clever writing, soulful singing and killer modern blues guitar playing. Love it!”

Shane Pacey (Voice and guitar of The Bondi Cigars):
“Really dug Simon’s CD. A little more sophistication than is usual in blues from Australia.”

Dave Roman (2SSR’s “Mystery Train” (FM 99.7 Sutherland Shire Radio):
"Outstanding! It has such a strong presence to it, beautifully produced and the musicianship by Simon Kinny-Lewis and his band is brilliant. The range of tracks covering some classic funky blues, stadium type ‘anthem rock’, and more ‘ballady’ type songs really showcases his maturity as one of the best musicians in Australia.”

Gail Page - (Vocalist - The Voice):
“Listening to Simon Kinny-Lewis’s album got me excited. Beautiful! I’ve got loads of respect for his musicality.”
