One morning, when Sascha Braemer woke up from his uneasy dreams, he found himself in his bed transformed into an incredibly successful DJ. Well...the transition didn’t happen that Kafkaesque:

"Recently I sat on my couch at home and it felt like I finally woke up. I thought to myself: Damn, it’s 2015. What happened to me in the last few years?"

The answer to that question is: “Quite a lot.” And all of it pretty fast. Sascha Braemer’s life has changed drastically after his international hit "CAJE", which he released together with his friend Niconé. Instead of spending dreamy weekends in his hometown Berlin, he plays gigs in Paris, New York and sometimes even in São Paolo. Festivals, at which he pushed to the first row to see all the acts, now book him as a headliner. "Volitional stress", is what he calls it. The kind of stress, that makes time fly. "Romantic Thrills", the collaboration-album with Niconé that followed their hit single didn’t help with that, nor his solo-hits for Stil Vor Talent or his own label Whatipaly.

People all around the world dance to tracks like "People“ or "You". And often enough Sascha Braemer is in on it, as DJ behind the turntables. To enchant people on the dance floor has been his mission for quite some time now, and somehow this mission turned into a never-ending frenzy. A frenzy, that controls his life now, no matter if he is partying with the crowd or staying completely sober.

Nevertheless: He has matured—as DJ and producer. He is in his late 30ies. And he feels astoundingly grown up. Even though he’s unexpectedly rational offside the dance floor, his DJ-sets portray mere intensity, because as a musician he lives and breathes his songs. Sascha Braemer puts emotion into his songs; they are his way to reveal his feelings. Whoever listens to his new album “No Home” can be witness to all of this: melancholy and euphoria, moments of joy and restlessness, fear and exultation—all of it merges in this album with enormous weight. Thereby it not only defines the musician but also the human being that is Sascha Braemer: constantly driven and yet somehow already at home.
